Best Drink

Every Sunday Matt Johnson (he's co-owner AND bartender) goes to the West Seattle Farmer's Market, picks two ingredients and invents a new drink out of 'em! A big hit with the cocktail crowd. Starts at 4PM and goes until the ingredients run out.

Artists

THE FEEDBACK LOUNGE is proud to feature local artist's work, from magnificent carpentry/plumbing, paint to metal work, graphic design to photography. Here's an introduction to the artists who've lent their magnificent skills to the cause...

TRADEWINDS PACIFIC CO.

Simply put, the Feedback Lounge would not exist without the hammer-bangingly, saw-slicingly, plumbing-angling, sweet schlunking skills of our beloved Jason Levenson, Ben Anderson, Jeff Angell and Chris Bridges. They toughed it out through the most dire of conditions (dirt, rain, sub-zero temps, meteors) and never complained. (By comparison, whenever any of us non-carpenter types got so much as a sliver, we were calling 911.) Needless to say, Heaven holds a place for these incredible friends/tradesmen. And by Heaven we mean a reserved barstool in the very bar they built. Even though we're unquestionably the most manliest of men you'll ever meet, we can say without reservation that we love these guys. If you need the job done right, Jason, Ben and Jeff are who you call. When you walk in the Feedback Lounge you're looking at their impeccable craftsmanship, top to bottom. Contact them today: Tradewinds Pacific Co. LLC, (206) 276-3995 or e-mail: jason@tradewindspacific.com

ART CHANTRY

A longtime friend and world-famous, ART CHANTRY's work is everywhere, from TV commercials to the Smithsonian. If you own any albums from the early '90s Seattle music scene, Art designed the bulk of 'em, a style that's shamelessly emulated to this day. He also created about 150 different logos and album covers for ESTRUS RECORDS. There are BOOKS written about him, which you pretty much need to own. (We have several copies.) Art whipped up some cool logos for us, two of which (including the one at the top of this page) will be painted on our north and back walls once the weather cooperates.

V. BLAST

Another long-time friend and excruciatingly talented, V. Blast has been making a living as an artist for 10 years, doing everything from album covers and highly unique paintings to description-defying metal scultptures. V. Blast's work is featured proudly and prominently throughtout the Feedback Lounge, from the 11-foot hand-painted main columns and metal scupltures behind the bar, to the four metal concepts attached to the front of the building. And did we mention he also does commission work?
Visit him right this second at VBLASTO.COM

GLENN CHASE

Whether you live in West Seattle or just stop by to partake in any one of our amazing stores/restaurants, then you've seen Glenn's awesome wall mural art. He's the guy who does the wall paintings on EASY STREET RECORDS and more recently the colorful
CAFE REVO mural. Glenn did a floor-to-ceiling painting for us inside the Feedback Lounge. What is it? Come by and see.

JAY GILBERT

A former Washington native, Jay lives in Simi Valley, CA and has worked in the music/entertainment industry for the last several decades. His love for music is also his outlet for photography, his other passion. Jay has photographed some of the biggest names in rock: KISS, Cheap Trick, Queen, The Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, Alice Cooper, U2, Sting and The Who, as well as magazine photo shoots with Brian Wilson and Rick Springfield (Jay shot the cover for Rick's latest CD, OVERDRIVE).
We're fortunate to be able to put on display Jay's killer rock photos.

MADAM TALBOT

One look at her WEBSITE and you'll discover Madam Talbot is at the top of a very short list of world class illustrators. Specializing in "Victorian Lowbrow," her boundless talents spans everything from hand-inked lithographs (many featured in the Feedback Lounge) and books, to insanely cool dolls and curios. (Her vampire detection kits are to die for. Ahem.) Visit her website today and plan on spending hours pouring though it.

JIM ANDERSON

If you've ever been at a show at the Crocodile Cafe over the last 15 years or popped into SLIM'S LAST CHANCE CHILI SHACK & WATERING HOLE, you've seen Jim at work. The most well known and respected sound engineer in Washington, Jim has ran the mixing board for everyone from Nirvana to Cheap Trick. His knowledge of sound equipment and those eerie soundwaves that look like the intro to The Outer Limits knows no limits. Jim set us up with a sound system that, when used properly, will melt hair. (We'll save that feature for a special occasion.) Stop by Slim's and meet the legendary man who made/makes Seattle loud. Or e-mail him here: bertfeggo@yahoo.com
